At our new West Virginia Family Wellness Center, Massey Members and their dependents receive the best medical care available in southern West Virginia. And Massey Members earn an average wage of $52,000.

Through our charitable giving and our Massey Energy Spousal Groups, we have provided financial support to numerous schools and non-profit organizations throughout West Virginia, Kentucky, and Virginia.

For over 22 years, I’ve been honored to be a Member of Massey Energy. We have come a long way from our humble beginnings in 1916 when A.T. Massey began selling coal off of horse drawn carriages in Richmond, Virginia. Today, we are the nation’s fourth-largest coal company.
